Modern Day Native American Story

There are many movies and books that are out today that have ties with Native Americans. I think the one with the most compairsons is the movie "Avatar". In the movie humans move away to explore a far away world that already has native people living on it. The natives use no technology, protect the enviornment and respect their world much the like Native Americans used to. They respect animals and only kill them for food like the American Indians of the past did. Native Americans only used to kill buffalo for food and clothing not for sport like white europeans did when we came to America. All those reasons are why the natives in the movie "Avatar" are very similar to Native American Indians. They show many of the same qualities the our own natives used too.
